To be fair, I’ve no idea what to call it. I’m 48k words in, and for now it’s just “the book in Willow Bend”—Willow Bend being the small town the book is set in. It’s shaping up to be a small town mystery meets slow burn romance.

Chloe is a young physician running from a broken heart and devastated from the recent loss of her father. New in town, she’s not expecting to spend more than a few years in western Kentucky. But when a twenty-year-old cold case warms, she finds herself unexplainably in the middle of it.

Austin is the town’s perpetual bachelor, the playboy of his family, and the one man she could do without. His family plays center stage to the mystery, a puzzle Chloe is determined to solve.
